Ingredients

  • Cordon Bleu (2 pieces)

  • Brioche burger buns (2)

  • Swiss cheese (2 slices)

  • Thinly sliced ham (2 slices)

  • Dijon mustard (2 tbsp)

  • Mayonnaise (2 tbsp)

  • Lettuce leaves (4)

  • Tomato slices (4)

  • Red onion rings (optional)

  • Pickles (optional)

Preparation

  • Cook the Cordon Bleu: Follow the package instructions to cook the Cordon Bleu until crispy and golden brown. Set aside to cool slightly.

  • Prepare the Burger Buns: Lightly toast the brioche buns in a skillet or in the oven to give them a nice golden texture.

  • Assemble the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise. Spread this sauce generously on the bottom halves of the toasted buns.

  • Assemble the Burger:

    • Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce on each bun.

    • Add a tomato slice on top of the lettuce.

    • Place the cooked Cordon Bleu on top of the tomato.

    • Layer a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the Cordon Bleu. Allow the warmth of the chicken to slightly melt the cheese.

  • Top with Optional Ingredients: Add onion rings and pickles if desired.

  • Finish: Place the top half of the brioche bun on the burger and serve immediately.
