Ingredients
Cordon Bleu (2 pieces)
Brioche burger buns (2)
Swiss cheese (2 slices)
Thinly sliced ham (2 slices)
Dijon mustard (2 tbsp)
Mayonnaise (2 tbsp)
Lettuce leaves (4)
Tomato slices (4)
Red onion rings (optional)
Pickles (optional)
Preparation
Cook the Cordon Bleu: Follow the package instructions to cook the Cordon Bleu until crispy and golden brown. Set aside to cool slightly.
Prepare the Burger Buns: Lightly toast the brioche buns in a skillet or in the oven to give them a nice golden texture.
Assemble the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise. Spread this sauce generously on the bottom halves of the toasted buns.
Assemble the Burger:
Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce on each bun.
Add a tomato slice on top of the lettuce.
Place the cooked Cordon Bleu on top of the tomato.
Layer a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the Cordon Bleu. Allow the warmth of the chicken to slightly melt the cheese.
Top with Optional Ingredients: Add onion rings and pickles if desired.
Finish: Place the top half of the brioche bun on the burger and serve immediately.
